1-Mile Dog Walk

Registrants may choose to participate in the one-mile walk and may bring their dog along for the fun.

Virtual Event Guidelines

  • The walk must be completed anytime between now and October 23, 2022.
  • Use the "It's Your Race" app (available on IOS & ANDROID) to automatically track your stats or upload them to the website manually upon completion of your walk.
  • Check the website on October 23, 2022, for final results and download your finisher certificate.
  • Must be registered by October 8 to be guaranteed a shirt from the event.

Cancellation Policy
If the in-person event must be cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the limitations set on public gatherings, all registrations will automatically be converted to the virtual event.

All proceeds benefit Animal Care PA's core programs that FEED and CARE for animals in need. 

* Each registrant will have a $3.25 processing fee added to their registration.

The Pennsylvania Veterinary Foundation (PVF), d/b/a Animal Care PA, was established in 1983, and serves as the charitable arm of the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association but functions as an independent Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation and is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization. The mission of Animal Care PA is to help caring people help animals by bridging the gap through our animal welfare initiatives like The Last Chance Program and Henry's Helping Paws Program as well as funding Veterinary Student Scholarships.
